Tofino Elopement // Jillian + Kyle

When Jillian & Kyle first got engaged they knew they wanted to have an intimate wedding. Both being from small town's in Saskatchewan, Tofino had always been on the list of places they wanted to vacation and they quickly decided it would be the perfect place to elope. They chose a spot surrounded by monstrous red cedars and the smell of freshly fallen rain to say their vows. It had been pouring all morning in typical BC fashion but the clouds opened up just long enough for a dry ceremony.
Although it was a secret elopement, they incorporated their families with carefully selected accessories. Kyle wore his grandfathers ring and tie clip, Jillian wore her mom's pearls and her grandmothers ring.
I spent the day following their trek through the Pacific Rim Forest and along moody costal beach scenes.

It was rainy. We got dirty. It was perfect.
